Are you planning your engagement photos in the next coming months? If so, then we have some tips for you! Yes, it is winter and a little bit chilly, but don't let that stop you. This winter season is the perfect excuse to snuggle up with your significant other and take the perfect engagement pictures!

1) Pick A Winter Location

If you are going to have engagement pictures taken in the winter, then it is a must that you pick a winter location! There are many options you could choose from: a Christmas tree farm, a cabin, the woods, or even bundled up in your own home. Any of these options would make for the perfect winter engagement photos.

2) Snow Watch

Make the photos exciting and have a snow watch! Get with your photographer and be on the lookout for snow, and when it comes take the pictures immediatley!!! Although, you may be on your toes for a while, the pictures will definitley be worh it. Nothing would make those engagement pictures prettier than the snow.

3) Warm Accessories

To give the pictures even more of a winter feel add warm accessories. Bring blankets, sit by a fire, add some Christmas lights, even share some hot chocolate. These accesories will make the pictures even better than they were before.

4) Dress the Part

It is going to be cold, so don't be afraid to dress for the weather! Layer up and stay warm. Wear scarves, hats, sweaters, long sleeves, flannels, etc. There is nothing wrong with keeping the pictures cozy and casual. It will make the pictures seem more realistic.
