As you all know, Winter is upon us! There's nothing more beautiful & romantc than a Winter Wedding. But, before you go all out and plan your special day, you may need to remeber these few tips! Winter weather is unpredicatable and comes with a few minor issues, but don't panic! We have the perfect solutions for you....

Tips for your Winter Wedding

1) Dress in style, but dont overheat!

In the winter, it can get a bit chilly outside. You don't want to be freezing at your wedding, so it is important to layer up! Layering is IN, plus it's perfect for when you are out dancing your life away on the dance floor. If it get's too hot then take one or two layers off and you will be good to go! You will be stylish and comfortable at the same time.


2) Consider your venue

You may want to keep people out of the cold as much as possible, so maybe stay away from having 2 venues. Keep your reception and ceremony in the same place. It can be just as fun! Also, you may not want to pick a place that is going to have a huge outdoor area. In the winter, the ground can be moist, or even snowy. You don't want your ladies sinking in the ground and ruining their precious heels!


3) Create a cozy reception!

Make your winter wedding cozy! Have lots of candles scattered around the room, and warm decorations. Maybe, even throw in some hot chocolate to add that real cozy touch.


4) Add in some Winter wedding colors

The best way to make a perfect Winter wedding is obviously using winter colors! Try using warm tones such as dark reds, burgendy, deep purple, or black. You could even add a hint of dark green to get that real Winter feel. 


5) Keep your guests warm!!

It is very important to keep your guests happy, so if it is cold outside, don't let them freeze! Before the wedding be sure to remind everyone to dress appropriately for the weather. Make sure everyone has a coat! It would also be a good idea to have a coat check at the door, for people who don't want to wear them the whole night. Keep the warm drinks comng, and maybe even have a fire. 


6) Adjust your timing

In the winter, it gets darker a lot sooner so be sure to keep that in mind! You may want to have your wedding sooner in the day, or at least get the pictures out of the way. Also, you need to tell your guests to plan around the time as well. You never know what the weather will be like! So, they may need plan for extra travel time.


With these few tips you could have the perfect Winter Wedding! Don't let you and your guests' hands turn blue, keep the wedding warm and cozy. With the right decoartions and colors you will be walking in your own Winter wonderland.
